Launchpad for career success for Asian High School and College Students and Early Career Professionals

At Asian Career House (ACH), we equip the next generation of Asian professionals with the experience, community, and internal strategy needed to navigate high-pressure careers without losing themselves. We want to build a world where Asian leaders are defined by their resilience, not their burnout. We are breaking down the stigma of the ‘New Professional’ struggle and ensuring every Asian early-career professional enters the workforce with the internal tools to be successful. Our mission is to accelerate the success of emerging early career Asian professionals through hands on work experience, technical upskilling, and a centralized network of industry mentors. We hope to close the leadership gap by ensuring every Asian professional has the skills and the connections to reach their full potential.

Michelle built ACH because no one should feel limited. It's a stepping stone, a vibrant community where every voice is amplified and every dream can be pursued.

It all began in a college dorm room back in 2021, fueled by a personal journey of overcoming limitations. Growing up, navigating school was a struggle, marked by learning English and spending time in special education, which often felt like it closed doors to future opportunities.

By the time Michelle reached college, the challenge shifted to forging a career path, especially when she set her sights on the tech industry. The fear of not securing a job after graduation, coupled with the daunting prospect of being a woman in a male-dominated field, pushed her to seek every possible opportunity. Breaking into tech without prior experience felt like hitting a wall, as many industries demanded a high level of work experience that was hard to acquire. The only way in was through relentless volunteering and building her own projects to showcase her skills.

This journey ignited a fierce determination: no one else should feel limited in their opportunities or alone in their pursuit of big dreams. As an Asian woman in tech, Michelle understood firsthand the difficulty of self-advocacy. She wanted to build a space where everyone, especially those from underrepresented backgrounds, could access unparalleled opportunities, feel a powerful sense of belonging, and have a clear stepping stone to excel. ACH exists to ensure others don't have to navigate those challenges alone, but instead, find a vibrant community ready to elevate their collective strength.

Our Approach

  • We talk about the things others don't—burnout, pressure, and corporate experiences.

  • We don't compete; we "Exchange Insights." When one of us breaks the ceiling, we pull the rest up.
